Day 5 of 40 Day Road to Creativity!!!

I should be in bed right now but I got to share the BEAUTIFUL WORKS of SistahGoddess Marilyn Fontaine. Sometimes you just meet your Sistah - you know a person you KNOW you have met in a previous time and space - maybe blood related in some Ancient upline of Ancestors...who knows...I started to speak with Sistah Marilyn on Facebook and from there I realized we had much in common - she in facts lives the creative life I visioning for myself. Great Artist, Powerful Healer, and Teacher...

When you started working with art and healing?
I originally trained in Art, Design and fashion but left that to get a 'normal' job that took me away from my soul urge. After joining the New Age movement at 21 i started to use healing and self awareness to heal my own issues however I rarely returned to paints until some years later.

I was reunited with Art about seven years ago when I attended an Inner child workshop (amazing for healing work). I then used these tools within my practise with clients and on workshops. However I did not use this as much for myself until I joined an online book group that really brought out my creativity again this helped me and heal my own issues, it was like being reunited with a part of my soul. The more I create the more energy I get and awareness.

What about your work? Why do you do it?
My work is a combination of creativity and healing, I am a Spiritual lifestyle coach that uses holistic modalities such as Reiki /Aromatherapy/Body reading/Colour therapy and Inner Child training. I also run workshops on Personal Development and online courses.

I don't have a job I have a lifestyle choice that involves various disciplines that I happen to get paid to do. So I work outside the box why i do my work is never a question its like this career chose me I love being able to give others that I work with unconditional positive regard but what I have also learned that I have to give that to myself . As there are too many wounded healers need care.

My main purpose now is to Create and experience myself and share whatever comes out with others. I created my own affirmation cards, a book, and now handmade journals. I never planned what the content would be they just came. My creativity is calling me to spend time creating as much as I spend time healing so it can speak to me and to the world.

I am in the process of finishing my work/playbook called the Creative Healing Playbook which is a playbook for women to set goals to heal, this is a functional book that requires work and exploration. This should be released for International Woman's Month.

I am available for spiritual or creative coaching helps one to tap into their own inner creative magic, instead of them having a passive role within their healing.

Creativity is an entity of its own even though I became an Holistic Therapist Art and Creativity called me home, as Clarrisa Pinkola Estes says in the book Women who run with the wolves "Do your art. Generally, a thing cannot freeze if it is moving. So move keep moving".
